National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting

The NICEIC is "a non-profit making organisation, set up in 1956 to protect consumers against unsafe and unsound electrical installations. It acts as the Electrical installation industry's voluntary Regulatory body for safety matters".[Reference: Roll of Approved Electrical Installation Contractors and Conforming Bodies 1998/99].

Enrolled contractors are subject to an annual audit by the regional NICEIC Inspector. This can also be viewed as a safety net to reassure consumers that CPFM adhere to standards, quality and compliance with BS7671.
